Hi,

I thought that we should send you a couple of photos from our last weeks' trip to find a box of toothpicks for your dad. You know how he is about finding just the perfect ones to have around in his mouth at all times. I sure hope that one dozen boxes is enough. This was just too expensive and too much stress dealing with the people who wanted to sell us time share condos in Hawaii to do any time in the forseeable future.

We are feeling great but really tired considering that your dad has to go to work tomorrow. The picture are-----

#1. A group of wooden totems at Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park.

#2. A picture taken from the rim of the Kilauea Caldera. It was raining hard to a crisp good picture was not possible.

#3. A black sand beach off the southern coast. It is a part of Ka'u which is called Punalu'u Bay.

Here are two more and try to give you our view of the "Big Island" of Hawaii.

#4. First day of trip: "You mean that we came here to swim in these rocks!!!!?"

#5. Part of the Temple at Puuhonua O Hoaunau which was sanctuary for defeated warriors and once for given they could have a second chance at life.

The rest are pretty self explanatory.
